A resident of Harrison, New York, since 1974. 1 came to Harrison
with Texaco when the company transferred its main headquarters
from Manhattan.

- Born on Nov. 28, 1925 in The Bronx where I graduated from
William Howard Taft High School. Soonafter, in February of 1944,
1 entered the navy, serving as a yeoman on a LST and then with
The Am- phibious Training Command In Virginia.

- Following my navy discharge, I attended New York University,
after which I went into radio network broadcasting as a comedy
writer. I later went on to television, writing comedy for such
programs as The Red Buttons Show, This Was The Week That Was
and The Phil Silvers Show.

- I eventually left broadcasting for public relations and last
worked for Texaco.

- In retirement, I keep active with freelance writing plus
being a deacon in my local church
